Developed as an experiment to see how humor can be used to improve everyday objects, british designer henry franks has created ‘bog standard’, an oak toilet seat hybrid with a paper roll attached to the rim. in addition to being a clever sanitation solution, the accessory acts as a clean handle for closing and opening the seat.
